The Lagoon Nebula (M8) is a beautiful bright star forming region in the constellation Sagittarius.

This photo was a joint venture between myself and Don Spencer using a unique combination of Film and CCD. The color data was provided by Don using Kodak Supra 400. They Luminescence data was provided by myself with a CCD Ha shot taken with the ST2000XM CCD Astrocamera.

This type of LRGB image provides color while also showing the sharp resolution of a Hydrogen Alpha image.
